I am just Lucky me and hubby are both addicted to chickens together.

I'll have to ask mine if he wants eggs for breakfast or spent shotgun shells? Mine hunts birds (Pheasant, Grouse, etc), but they get to be alot more expensive than my "birds" because of shells, driving time, lodging, going out for food, liscenses, shell (you get the picture)

Mine is into Jeeps. Long ago we agreed to give ourselves an allowance every month to spend on whatever we want. The rest of the money goes towards bills. Has worked out pretty good so far.

SHE IS KINDA CUTE TO, so she gets pretty much what she wants as long as we have the money, if not I will sale something.

My birds were supposed to be self supporting, and they were, until the days got shorter and they slowed down laying. Then I "needed" a livestock guard dog. then an incubator. then eggs to hatch in said incubator. We scrape by add it is, we both work in the arts, which means no steady income. But we are happy with our choices, they are what's best for us and our kids. Sometimes finances just plain suck kitty poo.

Got a great looking bunch of SFH eggs from juststruttin today, very well packed, too. Into the incubator in the morning!
