I am very lucky in that we can pick up even when the counter is closed. It could be from the amount of boxes we send and receive too though. We just ring the dock bell and pick up what came in. As long as the boxes are prepaid we can drop off at the same time too.

Good morning..

Congrats to those getting birds today.. nothing that exciting here except I candled all the eggs in my incubators and every single one is developing.. A first!

Hoping to have the bathtub installed this afternoon too. Now THAT will be exciting.

The post office has so many problems.. could it really get worse?

I think they are splits, not pures. In the one picture you can even see a gold laced polish in with the other. I wouldn't bid.

So how long does it take them to return emails and actually ship orders?

They are getting better with the emails. I had a nice long conversation with Jenny at lunch and boy do I have a box of chicks coming tomorrow.

Morning all!

My smallest is still the only one that made it to school today. This cough/fever/sore throat thing is dragging on.

My last 6 eggs are almost done hatching. My solo legbar egg hatched! And it's a girl!

I should have more eggs arriving tomorrow, so I'll have just enough time to clean out the incubator before starting all over again.

Unless the eggs are to be picked up at the post office? Are they planing to still keep office hours on Saturday? Or is it just the carriers that are off?

What I read said the PO would still be open, but no mail would be delivered.

I just had a nice conversation with her too. She couldn't reach Rachael, so she called me instead. Now I am hoping to hear from Rachael soon.

It's not happening until August, and packages and PO BOX mail will be delivered on Saturday. Counters will be open. They are only eliminating letter delivery. Works for me. I figure if you really need to get all your mail on Saturday, you can get a PO BOX.
