Good evening guys! I have a question for you all about our hatching eggs that have been incubating for 25 days now. THEY STILL AREN'T HATCHING!!! We are starting to get really worried and don't know what to do. I figured I would ask because you all hatch eggs a lot. What do you guys think? Should I be worried? How long should we go before we do anything else? What should the next steps be?
have they pipped at all? have you done the float test?

out of 9 eggs in lockdown, Six are hatched, two more are pipped!!!! there are little bumbly chicks stumbling around everywhere!

I've decided you were good luck for me. One of My Cl eggs has pipped early and is peeping up a storm, it was one of the last ones that were in during the spike, and its alive and kicing and WANTS OUT! Hopefully her time wiht low umidity wont phase her.

Are there movements or cheeps? did you candle them? If no pips id float test and see if they are viable. If they are pipped keep the humidity up and wait for a bit. If your temps ran low they can take longer, but it is also possible they just didn't make it first few times incubating can be rough. If they did not make it, you can eggtopsy them and try and see what went wrong.

Yeah she just candled quickly and put them immediatley back in the bator. We are just going to leave them and try the floating test in the morning. We are hoping and praying that this works! THANKS AGAIN!!!
