Here's to 4 pullets and 1 beautiful blue cockerel. If you get an extra blue cockerel, I might want to do a swap with you. I only have a splash so no blacks, and I really love my black pullet.

Good grief....I wouldn't let it bother me, and to have never had mites is a load of baloney. My g'ma used to ask me to do something I would say I might and she would say mites grow around a chickens butt....so I took that to mean that chickens get mites, period. And if she has never had mites, why all the DE? Wonder if that person knows that DE can cause respiratory issues, if you aren't careful with it.

There is a lady here close to me that swears by that stuff. She eats it and drinks it in her coffee. She dusts everything in it. It is a borderline obsession... lol

hi all................. on a mission over here today. Had an opportunity knocking for a breeding pair to add to our farm. So I am hoping to clear out all of the hatchlings we have on ground, or currently hatching to help cover the costs of bringing in this pair for my husbands flock.Top end waterfowl are hard to come by and shipping of adults is mind blowingly high. SO if we have something you want please shoot me a PM............ this includes hatching eggs, lives ect. (also includes a few of the White Bresse I am about to get in as we wont keep all of them)

nope, only the 8 eggs we got on the swap about to hatch. Very fun eggs though those Cayugas, kinda like marans eggs lol

sebrightmom has them and I have 17 eggs due to hatch on the 21st of this month.

Have you candled the buffs? I'm not even sure how long they would have been set now. I've been getting 90-100% with them here.
