Here is a good information resource: http://msucares.com/poultry/reproductions/trouble.htmlI finally sold my first batch of CCL eggs locally and it seems 5/6 started to develop however 3 have blood rings and only two are going into lock down tomorrow. I did a small test batch prior to selling and all hatched. I put 25 more into lockdown on 2/5 and all but two are developing nicely and will go into lockdown on Sat, one blank and one blood ring. As it was a local pick up I'm looking for possible causes for the difference in our hatch rates. The reason I have read was bacteria however I would think that if it was from here I would be getting a bunch more quitters. Thoughts and input would be most appreciated! Any other known causes for bloodrings/quitters?
Good luck........![]()
