Agreed. just don't have the spare funds to purchase all 3 so thought I'd share. I sent an email to buy one of the incubators, but thought I'd share in case someone else around this area was looking. :)
DH just got home... will be doing some sweet talking!

Keep your fingers crossed!

It would really depend on the type. My black Dutch aren't heavy layers (at least this time of year) so I need 4 hens. And really could use two more.
My Cochins when not broody would lay 4 a week each. Then they go broody without notice (mine when broody today! Too bad she is only like half a pound and could cover like two large eggs.

If he won't break the set, I'll go in with you on them! Can always sell the hatcher, if we didn't want it.

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to get a an EE that lays super good that I can cross to get a barred ee, do I can do a high production sexlink ee. I can't use the SBELs, right? Because of the dominant white, or can that be bred out?

Ironic spelling tangent.....  I am the single worst speller in the world and my grammar is not much better.  It is an interesting combination of dyslexia and disgraphia.  I am a college professor and I usually teach Psychology and Sociology.  This quarter they have me teaching Foundations of Writing.  I have to give my students extra credit for catching my spelling and grammar errors when I dissect sentences on the board with them!  A whole lot of extra credit has been awarded in the last 8 weeks.  I think they learn the information just so the can "Catch" me.  At least it is good humor.

My 15 year old son struggles with dysgraphia. We haven't known anyone else with that diagnosis.

Thanks! I think it's just ground into my skin. Kind of like henna! In fact that's exactly what it reminds me of is Henna stain! Well after the paste is removed that is! Some of my old handywork

This is how AyeUpChuck counts a dozen...
As in, I claimed 2 swaps of 6 eggs each and this is what I recieved today :weee thank up very much! Those green OEs Are gorgeous. Green is my favorite color, I'm not sure why I haven't breed or bought OEs yet!!

Now tell me, how do I fit literally 100 eggs on a 42 egg turner

I love all the colors! Umm...you definitely need another bator lol!

WARNING!!! I am about to rant.

So, I got a package from the USPS today. Eggs from a swap on the Online Crazy egg chain. Three eggs broken, one seeping, and EVERY SINGLE EGG OUT OF 18 HAS BROKEN AIR SACS. I am getting so upset! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE???????????????????? This makes me sick! I want some good birds, but I can't get any chicks from eggs that have been scrambled. I've sent in numerous complaints, but they never do anything about it. The last two times I complained, they mysteriously lost the record of my call and complaint numbers. Go figure. I'm literally getting sick to my stomach over how sad/mad this is making me!

I currently have 29 eggs in my incubator that I'm hatching for a lady down the road, 26 are developing perfectly. The only 3 not developing are from some young bantams, so they probably weren't even fertile to start with. BUT, you can't do much with scrambled eggs.
