Finally candled eggs. Pulled one exchequer leghorn, one paint silkie, two turkey eggs (one quit and it was pretty far along ), two araucanas, three or four orps and a lav split silkie. All in all, not too bad, this was the first candle for all except two sets of turkey eggs. The one set is due in 2-3 days from my girls and still going strong. The second set was midget whites which were at 100% until this one quit. Hopefully I still get a great hatch of turkey poults!

Is that from the ones sent during the deep freeze? If so I love insulation.

Does anyone have to deal with or have tips for red clay stains? We have it all over out here. Clothes, boots, floors and even my hands/fingers are suffering! I need to figure something out. Hands are my fault for not always using gloves to dig in the dirt. It almost looks like orange nicotine stains!

Maybe vinegar and soap? The grout on the floors is the worst for sure! Any advice would be appreciated!

Jumping in late on this one. My daughter plays softball and of course the team pants are white and must be spotless for each game. I have found that by wetting the area that needs to be treated then rubbing a bar of FelsNaptha on the spot and then scrubbing it with a scrub brush gets out all of it.
