I know someone who asked if they could pick up their SFH they wanted to order and were told NO. Why wouldnt they not allow someone local, or semi local to pick up?

That is strange.

I do know that for such a large operation, they only have 5 people working there. I would expect at least a few more people.

between adults and hatcchlings we can have over 100-150 birds and even more during huge hatches, orbusy weeks and its just us as a family. If you create a system and work as a team chores are nothing. 45 minutes in themorning with three of us each doing a job and we are done. Now they also have hoof stock so 5 people for hundreds of birds and large herds of hoof stock is stretched thin

And you have to factor in that Jenny runs the office, one runs the brooder area and one runs the packing. That leaves 2 people to take care of the animals.

true, it could be 3 or 4 of each with auto water systems they wouldnt have much work

I am debating on whether to go to the feed store to see what kind of chicks they have.
