Thanks guys for the words of sympathy abut my boss...what can I say. Oh well.

I do like my job,so hopefully they will keep me around.

we have this snowstorm thing loooming now...if anything actuallly happpens. Dont belivee it until I see it with the weather dudes. But I sure would like to sleep in tomorrow! what is it looking like in the Tennesee/West Va area now? any white stuff?

Well, having chickens does put a damper on it, that's for sure. But I will be happy as long as the power stays on. contingency plans for the bator involve chicken napping some hens from the coop and putting them in really small boxes so they have nowhere to sit but on the eggs.

It rained her last night and this morning but has not in a few hours. Started spitting sleet while we were feeding out back. Nothing really much yet. It is supposed to snow over night and into the morning but not much if anything will accumulate here in Middle TN. Watch us get 4 inches now.....

I figured we better water today so if it is too cold tomorrow we could skip it

Not A Farm and I are doing a side swap she shipped me eggs and they are doing great.

Chick among us did a side swap too and they hatched already.

Brookhaven and I did a swap too great hatch BTW.

If I missed someone that needs to get 10 swaps under their belts let me know and I will post it for you.

I am actually there has not been MORE snow. Usually up here our snow doesn't even fully melt till May and March is usually a very cold snowy month. The last week or two has been almost spring weather 40s even 50s

!! I actually hope it gets cold again or we are going to lose our maple syrup season QUICK!
