In regards to the wildcard swap "giveaway", you cannot keep the swap for yourself. It is to be gifted to someone. I believe if you do not "award" it to someone, it will just be forfeited. It will not be awarded to you. The giveaway was designed in fun so people could award more swaps to the people they want to receive swaps from.

ready for spring... my yard was such a mess from the mud. snow is at least covering up THAT mess... which will only come back... need some sunshine!!

Just wanted to make one last offer before my trip. If you are on my route, or willing to meet me on my route and have birds for sale you can post the info in the comments section of my trip page and anyone further along my route can see and possibly buy them. If you would like to put pictures up on the page let me know and I will give you access. Less then a week until I leave! I better start packing! I am going to start seperating the birds going with me out of the flock this afternoon! I am going to spend this weekend making sure everything is set up for the sitter. BTW my sitter is interested in a splash or blue marans rooster if anyone on my route has one available! I have set 2 dozen marans eggs and only ever had the one hen hatch. Darn shipped eggs!

Looks like 'the foot' will be my only chick from those two sets of eggs as well. Very discouraging! But he is a very cute chick. Just needs a cool name to go with his unorthodox arrival!

I have one of each - a splash and a blue. I have been listing them with Black Coppers here locally, but people around here seem to only want the Black Coppers. They are 4 to 5 month's old. I could send you some pictures later this evening. I think they were from crfarm's eggs.

It stinks that you only ended up with one chick, but it sure is a cutie! Hehe...I would name it Stomp. That looks like what happened- stomped straight through the shell lol. I hope it doesn't end up with a temper to go with the stomping. ;)

I'll be driving from Fayetteville, NC, on I-95, to Augusta, Ga, via I-95/I-20 this Sunday, day after tomorrow. I am willing to transport between the two and can stop anywhere on the route. I'm currently planning on returning same day, but can stay a night if needed. Just going to visit the parental units.

And if anyone has any English Orpington, Wellie, Rose Comb Brown Leghorn or BBS Ameraucana eggs going to waste along that route, let me know and I can help you out!
