Ok I am no expert candeler but I am 82 hrs into my bantam cochin eggs and 1 out of 15 shows veins. Should I be worried or do you think sometimes it takes just a little longer?? When they got here they were cold but I let them sit over 12 hrs.

I wouldn't worry yet, give them at least 5-7 days....some take longer to see...

Oh heck yeah -- I've had eggs take six and seven days to definitely show positive development. Don't ever chuck anything before day ten unless it's cracked and stinkin'

I got my first Scovy egg today. As long as they keep laying after fertility is confirmed I will start sending the swaps for them out. I don't see why they wouldn't be fertile though there is 4 BOys running around with 13 girls. And I see them with the girls all the time.

I REALLY need tobe cleaning the hatcher and setting the drawers up for this weeks hatch, but i am so not into it this morning. Woke up to grey skies and rain and snuggles with the wee one and a movies sounds perfect right now

My call ducks are starting to hide there eggs from me. I found a nest the other day with 12 eggs in it and could only salvage 2 of them to put in my bator after doing a water test. I just went on an easter egg hunt this morning looking for there eggs in the places they have been laying. Guess it is time to lock them down.

Ok turkey experts the Lords will I get 24 BOURBON RED eggs Saturday, we r driving to NC to pick them up so no sipping errors. I need any good hatching advise these r my first turkey eggs.
