Hatching Eggs / Paypal CHAT Thread

It has been empty I will start adding stuff to it ASAP. Thank you.

I know this has been answered, but I wanted to show pictures of my hatcher. My incubator is a 1588, so the temp is always on point. The hatcher is a regular still air LG and I was having so many problems with temperature fluctuations, until I put water filled Tupperware containers in. Since then, as log as I check once/twice a day... It's pretty solid.

Congrats!!  I couldn't imagine life without Steve.  We are together pretty much 24/.  I hope you all have the best of time when he gets in.

I take off the thread overnight and I am blown away by the posts on here!!!  Chatty are we?

So, my hatcher lost power for about an hour yesterday and got to about 80 degrees before it was up and going again.  What is everyone's opinion, will they be ok?  This was my really stupid mistake- luckily this was all of my chickens eggs hatching instead of eggs from anyone else but, still --- it stinks!

They should be fine! Might take a little longer to hatch. I don't worry so much about temp drops anymore, not after my husband, and sons, have unplugged my incubator accidentally. One time was for 4 hours and I still had 11/15 hatch. I seem to always have a majority hatch on day 20... When the temp drops, its day 21 :)

oh, oh, oh, 1 more day to go and I'll have a Bantam B/B/S CHICK!!! I can't believe I am excited over a BANTAM! Ok well we will see how many more days but today is day 20! Is it ok that my broody is still getting off her nest at this point?? I don't hear chirps or peeps and there are no holes/cracks(zip or pips? not quite go tthe handle on the lingo quite yet.) but it is alive- don't ask how I know it's still alive you would all yell at me!!

Also I did not want to keep posting on the actual swap thread so I will ask here- How many eggs do turkeys lay? I just had the giant white meat turkeys when growing up and they never laid a lot of eggs nor were they fertile.

OK, everyone. I have to vent. I just got off the phone from calling my son's endocrinology office. I was calling to make sure they had the MRI results since the radiology tech told Andy the doctor would have them Monday. We waited all day for the results. The receptionist puts me on hold for 10 minutes, comes back and says yes the results are here. I asked when we would here from the doctor. Her response was Dr. Nuttha is out of the office and won't be back until after April 1st. AAAHHHH!!! I asked calmly for another doctor to give me the results. I was told there wasn't another one. I then said my son has been diagnosed with a tumor. We want results. She told me me oh, you haven't heard them? NO. She is going to have the nurse call me. I said my son is a senior in college, spring break is next week, we were hoping to have the surgery that week. She just said I'll tell the nurse that is what you would like.

I'm giving here 60 minutes and calling back. Am I being unreasonable to expect that a doctor shouldn't leave a patient with a brain tumor hanging for 2 1/2 weeks waiting on results from a MRI and scheduling surgery?

I am about to lose it here.

According to this goofy thing they departed the 12th and then reprocessed on the 13th. This is the only box out of 11 that I have seen any issue with. Sorry, Clarence. Fingers crossed that they will get there today or tomorrow. I will say 4 days is normal delivery from here.
