How old are they and who did they come from?

They are 7-8 weeks old and they came from my flock. I hatched them. 2 may be spoken for.

I'll have to look at a calendar and see when it would be a good time.

I will be setting tonight: 9 bantam chocolate orp eggs, 7 White Bresse pullet eggs and 5 Black Barthuhner eggs!

I get great results on the last two. The first one should be good to go!

anyone have a choc wyandotte cockerel they can part with? Out of my horrible hatch of the 28 eggs and 13 hatching... 5 have made it this far and appear to be all pullets. So if anyone has an extra, please PM me.

I have tons of them. Remember I still owe you a trio though I'm not sure I will have them by May. BUT I have loads of roosters.

On the Easter swap next year I'm going to be prepared and make two quilts and maybe some sheet sets. Maybe if I get my but in gear next March I will have some maple syrup to swap too. It would be nice to see who would be interested. It looked like you all had fun!


I have a question about cleaning incubators, I just finished hatching and need to clean it for Tuesday's hatch can I use bleach?

I got 13 chicks -1 Blue Marans, 2 Splash Marans, 2 Mille Fleur Bantam Cochins, 1 Welsummer and 7 Cuckoo Marans but I think one might die it isn't chirping and it seems very weak. I guess we will see in the next hour or so. It was over all not such a great hatch-25%. I am sure I would have got at least 50% for shipped eggs if not for the fact I had the humidity way too high for lockdown. I am just lucky I got these. I wish I got better numbers but you can't learn without making mistakes right.

sounds like you have too many pullets. I trade a few roos for a few pullets and we'll be balanced.
