Otherwise, we have a problem. lol...

My son just got the call from his doctor about his prognosis. She says that he will have to have major testing to find out what all has been affected and then brain surgery. Problem is that the testing is very complicated and time consuming and the only place she trusts to have it done is the Mayo clinic. Our insurance told her they would not cover it. Now I have to start the process of fighting to get him the care that he needs and find out what we need for justification. Everything is on hold now. Andy comes first. If we have to sell out to get him the care he needs... Whatever has to be done will be.

Sorry to hear about insurance! I hope that your insurance company changes their mind!!!!

Hey, what's wrong with green beans? Yummy, I love beans.

Green beans are awesome. But, just a wild shot in the dark here, I would guess he probably prefers the chocolate covered potato chips and natural soda syrup I have been sending to my wonderful, healthy pickled vegetables. But then, it is just a guess.

Oh you missy. Would you do a trade for that lovely ACV you have? I would like to try fermenting.

I LOVE EGGS!!!!! Will work for eggs..........

Did you try calling Mayo? Its an awesome place. They often can do a lot to help you with the insurance. They helped me fund some much needed genetic testing that "wasn't covered". Let me know when you come up. I live about 45 minutes away, I would happy to help with anything I can. Even if it is just to give you a ride from the airport.

I can not believe all 3 of my bantam orp hens has gone broody. They have their butts squeezed into one nest box. Practically on top of each other. I hope moving them to a new coop/pen will break them.

you can get the insurance company in line. I bet the Mayo Clinic is good at dealing with them too - contact Mayo and see what they can do to get him the testing he needs to get his life back.

Ugh. After my swaps/purchases are all in, I think I'm seriously done for a good long while. I'm pulling far too many clear eggs. I can't justify $17 or making soaps/candles for the chance to get one chick. From all of these swaps, I have 5 turkey poults, 1 buff orp, 6 marans and one silkie. That's from a minimum of 13 swaps! I'm just not having any luck this year from shipped eggs. :(
