Wait, the PO guy dropped the box in front of you and broke the poor chickens leg???!!?? Did you go apepoo on him?!? I think I probably would have gotten an assault charge just from that. Did they charge you by weight for all the birds, or refund the one they hurt an you had to take out? How long have they been in transit? Is there much hope for them? That just stinks all around. I am so sorry.
I have a day old chick shipping question. Cof I remember when I met you to buy the BCM you said to set eggs on Sunday for Monday shipping, I did for AyeUpChucks swap, but those darn overachievers are hatching today. Three have hatched since I woke this morning. I have 7 more eggs in to hatch though. Since the PO closes at 12 today, am I going to have a problem? I have grow gel for them for shipping. My son opened the heat pal I had for them, so I am going to have to find a substitute. What I am concerned about is the little Dutch waiting until Monday to ship if they are already hatching today. I had the temp a little lower trying to drag out the hatch, but they don't seem to notice. Should I put it up to 102 (still air hatcher here) and try to get them to hatch now? I doubt I can get them all to hatch in two and a half hours though.
All this bad news from shipping is making me a lot more worried about when to ship than I was before
