Ok...I have a new addition to the list of very unhelpful "helping" of non chicken people. My roommate has Asperbergers. She loves the chicks! She was very "helpful" this morning and moved most all of my brand new and breed separated chicks that hatched yesterday and put them all together in the main brooder!!!! I think I know them all apart, but I will offer a very special treat box to anyone who can correctly confirm the identity of the chicks below. I can send better photos...but guesses??? I send good treats......

I have a question for seasoned silkie breeders.

I hatched out 2 silkies from several eggs set. Now one of them looks like it has a beard like an ameracauna. Is that possible?

So, last week was choas.  Almost like a bomb went off!  I am bottling some fresh vinegar today for all you lovely chicken people.  If I owe you vinegar, will you please check my list?  I think I have everyone that I owe, but I just keep thinking I am missing something?????  Ever have those days???  On the up side, sending a fabulous batch for ya all.

Yes, they come in bearded and non bearded.

Of course, most of these are showgirls..............just ignore the naked necks!

Ok....sorting out the mess at OK Chicken Corral. Smaller white egg marked CS. Thought it was a coronation Sussux. Not so much!
