Really? Where do you get them refilled? And do I have anything that interests you in trade? I LOVE sparkling grape juice!
Around here we get them refilled at target or our local kitchen supply. I'll check out your list

So the banding gets done along with the testing?  Basically, I only have chicks.  Does this mean I don't have to worry about it?

Living with ADHD is difficult.  Mostly, it is hardest on the people around us.  But, there are some upsides!  Generally, people with ADHD are intelligent, creative and out of the box thinkers.  There are some herbal supplements that can be helpful if the medications are too hard for him.  Gatu Kola is a great herbal root that can help without all of the side effects.  There are a number of vitamin supplements as well.  Increased complex B is a good one.  There are non stimulant meds available on the market right now.

I have found with medications, people respond very strongly to one and not another.  I tried Ritalin, I went nuts for a little while.  But, Concerta does not seem to have that same effect.  I can say I was 100% opposed to meds until I was 25, but they changed my life!!  And now I can keep a job when I couldn't before either.  I recommend them only as a last resort, when other stuff isn't working.  So, for you son, if he manages without them he will be much better off.  But, with an adult, if he could manage to function well without them, he would have by now.  It is one of the best health choices I have made, but it is not an easy one.

Would you be interested in the books?

Sorry I've been working outside. Yes I would be interested in the books. And yes he NEEDS meds. He doesn't realize the life he's missing out on. It got really bad a few years ago when his dad was dying of lung cancer. He was flipping out! Unable to deal with it all. Of course I took the brunt of everything, but that's usually how it goes. He's lucky I'm so understanding. And thankfully I have my animals. His poor judgement has cost him a lot and I fear it will drive an unrepairable wedge between him and our son. I protect my son from his stupidity. He gets pretty stupid at times. Once a couple of years ago he was trying to teach our son to catch. Of course the kid was afraid of getting hit. Hubby told the kid that he was going to tie him to a fence and throw balls at him until he quite flinching. Momma not like! I had child protection after him in a half a heartbeat. Nobody puts my child at risk..

Hubby is highly intelligent and needs to constantly learn things. If he's not learning he gets really crazy. That's when that rubber mallet would be my friend.

Better get busy I need at least one coop cleaned today.
