If I ever get silkies!

I always miss the eggs on eBay and everyone I've contracted on here tells me they are on back order

until June!
Anyone know of anyone who would be interested in a side swap of partridge silkie eggs for a jar of kippered salmon or homeade jam?

Maybe they are afraid of freezing the eggs? June sounds "safer".. Perhaps you could offer to pay extra for a heating pad or double boxing with heating pads.. those eggs are really small and I have heard they don't like temperature changes much...

Of course not! One day you'll be back swapping. You can just dream and plan in the meantime. Live vicariously through others. I do that a lot in other aspects. I travel with my husband and my daughter on their different business trips. DD just got back from Thailand, so now I feel like I got to go, too! (Yeah, I know...silly, huh? But silly can make you happy. I'm a fan of being happy!)

We are getting lots of eggs, so I'll have them for a while, or side swaps available too!

That might be my last one. I have some here, some in the bator and now another shipment... I ALMOST put an order in at Porter's too for RP's... Blues, pencilled blues and pencilled chocolates. $190 was just a bit too much.

Oh those penciled palms call to me daily, but I can't just yet. Still too focused on the kiddos chickens. We sold 150 mutt layers last week and another 50 today, so I think we will have room for all his breeds. He's now down to I think under 100 layers. Whew! I was beginning to think I needed to take over the 30x40 shed my hubby thinks is his. That would be too funny for him to come home and find all his tools in the basement and chickens in the shed. Hmmmmm you know.....it's really a tall shed so I could even put in a second floor.
