I just wanted to check in with everyone. I have been really sick all week. I had my immune system killed off Friday to help my crohn's disease and I must have picked up a bug at the hospital. I can't take more than 3 steps without stopping to catch my breath. I got IV antibiotics yesterday so hopefully they will kick in soon. I didn't get any thing out this week and I won't be able to get to the swap at at Troy tomorrow either. This is just so depressing, not being able to do anything. I now have 300 PM's I'm not ignoring anyone. I have a big hatch Monday and will still get those chicks out even if someone else has to do it. I'm very, very sorry not to be getting anything done but wanted to let you all know what is going on. I'll try to get to as many PM's as I can. DH has been helping me with everything but we are still in the middle of moving so the timing could not be worse. I hope everyone is doing well . Thank you for bearing with me.

Crohn's is a terrible frustrating disease. Just take care of yourself and take it easy. Not getting a chick or eggs at an exact time is NOT a national disaster. Everyone on here is a wonderful person and will understand your situation.

ever since I was pregnant with my youngest, Daniel, I started having stomach issues. The doctors thought I had Crohns, and other diseases of the bowels. After thousands of dollars on doctor bills and medications that didn't work I was to the point I could barely get around. I had lost most of my muscle mass because my body wasn't digesting any nutrients. I had no energy, iron level was horrible, tired all the time...... I know where you are coming from Rachel! I found out on my own that I had celiac and a corn allergy and now I back to normal (this took 4 years!!!) I couldn't imagine doing what you do and living with Crohns. There is no way I would have been able to work and keep up a farm before I fixed my problem--- prayers go out to you and your healing

I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this disease. My best friend had it. We spent many a nights dealing with the pain. I hope and pray that you don't have to go the next step into the biologics. They scare the bejezes out of me! That is one disease they really need to find a cure for.

Back! All birds arrived safe and so far, sound....13 Rhodes from GFF (13, wish they had added just one more) and a pair of Black Bresse from Madam, thank you so much

looking forward to the next pair, pictures do these birds no justice, really. They are gorgeous! Opened the box, and the first thing the cockeral does is fly up and land on my head...lol! Sure wasn't expecting that, skeered me!
I get the Mille's today also.....I am on cloud nine, which will turn into seventh heaven when the Jubilees arrive. lol!
