Wow. 96 eggs going into my bator and 24 going into April's today. Hatching addiction, maybe?

I just wanted to take a minute and ask everyone a question. For those of you that print your shipping labels at home, you are taping down all the edges, aren't you? I tape over the whole label, even though you are not supposed to tape over the tracking bar code. As long as your tape is not wrinkled, it works perfectly. I think that may be why some packages are getting lost. I got a package the other day where the label was not taped on very well, and am surprised I got that package. If the label falls off, they really aren't going to bother with taping it back on. Unfortunately.

I just put my 6 of my CCL ladies in with a Rhodebar roo. Chicks will be sexable and lay pretty green eggs. They're 23-24 weeks old now so we're on egg watch!

will they be autosexing? I know penn/cl are, is it any breed that uses the dot that will be? y ee/cl are not for sure! ( fast sexing however by chest feathers, so Orlando still gets his extra wimmenz)

Ok I take that back, that's not who I was expecting... kind of shocked actually.

I'd guess someone had help packing then. Maybe a bord kid? lol
And Krafty, I do tape over the wole thing, I did not know you were not supposed to take over the tracking lable...
I might try and tape under it from now on..

Not autosexing - they're not purebred - The first generation will be sexlink though. or so I've researched....

I always tape my whole label.... never had anyone "loose" my box

I use 1/2 sheet labels with the sticky backs. No need for tape

I completely tape all 4 sides of the label. Not over the scan thing, but all edges so nothing can snag any bit of it and rip it off.

I tape all four edges and then across the address part... never had a problem.
