Was wondering when you would chime in! Surprised that Clarence hasn't mined them already. RBA is fun to watch, but I'm just not ready to bid. I might go crazy mining everything and confusing everyone.

I suggested to Jenny that they do the orpington chick special. But yes, they go up too high. I try not to look at RBA too much these days.

I have been drooling over the orps assortments but, like everyone else... too rich for my blood! Give it about a month or so and the price will go back down to affordable.

I do have a friend that received 3 partridge orps and 2 red orps in her rare chick assortment 2 weeks ago... I will be getting egg off her as soon as they are laying if they turn out to be pairs

okay so you guys with EO Maradunna basque-

are the hens ever white with mottling?  I have been thinking this one chicken is a boy forever because of his coloring but all the other chickens in his age group have declared themselves with wattle and combs except for him.  He still looks very pullet-like.  but his color screams cockerel.  any chance he is a pullet?
