yeh they call me constantly and ask how much for your rooster........which one
how many you got...............alot
can you send me a pic...... which one
all of them........don't we need to decide what you want

I get that call all the time how much are your hens, which ones

then you tell them the price and they say the add said $5 yes for day old chicks, I have plenty of those.
 
I have had the customer from hell this week. Guy goes on vacation and dumps chicks on his assistant who keeps calling. 24 email 10 call and 3 tentative appointments later he may pick up some chicks tomorrow.

I had someone else show up and say after he'd bought chicks he was going to leave them in a box in his car for 4 hours while he went to class's in a black truck on a 90 degree day. Since I'd rather they not die I lent him a dog crate to put them in so they could go inside. No dog crate back and no reply to the email...

Ahhh well

I have several Bantam Chocolate Wyandotte roosters available. I just counted and I have 9 total roosters.

I just dont get it, geese arent cheap(well some breeds are), I know they arent and there is a huge space commitment to them. However they lay once a year, the rest of the year we spend feeding them with no income from them. Dewlaps are lucky to lay 20-30 eggs TOTAL and then they dont all hatch. We keep some to grow out and look at and see if they are worth breeding 9cause not every bird hatched is worth breeding) and it takes growing them out to know.


I just love the "we are prepared to buy multiples. Thats great if the offer was for multiples, otherwise you are waisting my time.

CL is another whole adventure................ Ad placed for Bird Y...................email "Do you have bird X and how much for all pullets?"

I also adore the weekly phone calls asking for runner ducks and pekins. uuumm neither were on my ad or our website. Oh and the emails asking for a price on a goose (go read our website) its why I spend hundreds of hours working on it
