I just checked the on the broody again and a fluffy little chick poked his head out....the hen made those sweet little peeping noises and snuggled him!

I guess it was just the first one this morning that she didn't like.

isn't there a certain someone on here that took over a breed from CPL when she went to visit, and was filling the swaps owed by CPL and BM6?

That certain someone would be me. I've got both the isbars and barred cochins. I've been emailing everyone updates as we get them up and laying No eggs have gone out yet.

Sorry, that should be "pm-ing everyone updates" and by everyone, I mean everyone I've got on the list of swaps inherited from CPL and BM6 that are listed on my swap page

Yes but she hasn't started sending out those eggs.

No offense taken but yeah, I figured it was worth clarifying the situation. I'd hate to get a lousy reputation as a shipper before I'd even shipped my first egg!

Oh, speaking of, for Beth and chicken fever -- I just clipped cochin butts Wednesday night. (That was, ummmm, interesting!) I haven't set another round of eggs yet to fertility test again but will do so asap -- I've got a gazillion eggs supposed to be hatching Tues-Wed and then will have incubator room again!
