Hatching Eggs / Paypal CHAT Thread

Well, I had to have the Isbars, because they looked pretty, and I thought the eggs would be cool. They are ugly. The pullets are not very pretty. The 2 blue cockerels are Ok, but are just lanky looking. The splash guy is the prettiest. I have gotten 2 eggs, 1 on sat one on sunday. I call them puke or pea green. I want them to hurry up so I can fulfill my swaps. You want em????

Sure I'll take them, and I'll honor the swaps you owe on them. Or I'll try to anyway. Surely egg color can be improved with some work?

Who has Sulmtaler and/or Cream Legbar swaps owed to them? I will be able to fill a few swaps for them, however, the CCLs and Sulmtalers got an unexpected play day last Friday so if you claim them understand that you might get some mixes. I don't know how to tell at hatch which chicks are pure and which are mixes. PM me if you want some eggs. I think "he who shall not be named" did quite a few Sulmtaler swaps? Also, if CPL owes you another breed and you are willing to take the Sulmtaler/CCL mystery eggs as fulfilment for her swaps, please PM me. I'm only going to cover a few swaps at this time because of shipping expense.

And this info should have been PMd to everyone that did swaps for those.

Thanks for letting us know.
I would hope if anyone is having issues with their birds and getting swaps out, they let their claimers know. Having all of one breed die off is pretty good information to pass along.

welcome, CJ. I am waiting for payment on the gosling already sent now.

Hi,
Now the jubliee's , they got cocci when my mother in law was home on hospice and our cousin just kept tossing the dead birds out and didn't tell me until it was too late. I have purchased 2 pairs since then but it will be fall before they lay.
I deleted the info about other swaps, but above is what I was told on the Jub Orps on May 9th

I know it's hard to have patience, but I think it's just something that we all need to do. Yes I would love to have all my sons birds hatched out and fully working on breeding, but then I had better get some more breeder pens going.

I think those of you that needed yours sooner rather than later were requested to PM the mods. I'm good with waiting as that's giving me time to deal with other things like a garden full of nasty weeds and tons of slips that need to be moved, or beds that need to be spruced up. I hope that you all get your eggs/chicks in a timely manner, and for me take your sweet ole time. I'm getting old per my hubby and can't get everything done in a day. Good thing my turkeys don't care how old I am. Ok off to sulk with turkeys now.

For those of you that I owe 12+ CCL eggs to, I'm more then willing to send quads out in the Fall but you would have to pay half of shipping. you can PM me if you want that.

The hardest thing for me is not the waiting, but the lack of communication.
