Is anyone owed Rhodebar eggs from CPL who would like chicks? I got a second set of eggs today (first were mooshed on arrival) however we sold the RB and I hate to see these eggs goto the trash. I will set them, and send the chicks that hatch (if any) you pay the shipping. PM me and show me the claim where you claimed RB eggs from CPL. PS.......... if I dont get a yes on these by morning will be feeding them to the dogs tomorrow
If nobody claims them I would pay for them! They are on the list of longing that my son has. I laughed because my hubby found the list. It's a whole collage covering the back of his bedroom door.
so they made it alright? Did the ice packs help? I had closing today on the new place....

Yeah on the new place! Congratulations. When do you start the arduous journey of moving? And I'll say it again ......poor poor silly guineas. Being made into cookies. Sorry! I just get a good giggle out of imagining them being shrunk into cookies.

Anyone looking for CCL chicks or Black Bresse chicks? My local friend and business partner and I are overrun with chicks. I realize that I would have to ship them. First 3 "packages" will be heavily discounted for shipping practice!

Currently have 15 straight run BB and 10ish CCL. Will get the exact sexing on the CCL tomorrow. :)

Are any of the CCLs white? I'll take all the white ones.

Thank you! Tomorrow begins the moving, gotta get the heavy stuff while hubby is here, and hopefully we will be able to get a couple pens up before he leaves as well, so I can get the birds moved.

I think they all will be going into GP for a little while, well the LF will go into one pen and the Bantam Cochins in another. Littlest ones are already in brooder cages that will go in the shed, easy to move them. OEGB's have their own tractors, so another easy move there. I still have to figure out what I am gonna do with the turkeys, I have decided that I am going to sell the Narrie and Slate hens and cook the Slate tom, he is already half plucked anyway, dummy won't stop rubbing the fence!

Might hit you up for some Midgets next year, or after I get moved if they are still laying...

Oh, and about the guinea cookies....silly goose!

OK, large amount of pictures. First, I want to see if I have any hens in my birchen marans (maybe a blue?). And then fluffy cuteness.

#1 pinkish comb and wattles but not comparatively.

#2 This is my definite boy from day one. He is the one that started out twice as big as the others and blew up his shell.

#3

#4

#5 The only one I am positive is female. Smaller and practically no comb. Also has a crooked toe

Lavender Am chick. I couldn't get a shot that was good of her and her adopted friend (that probably has a week on her). Peep did not want to stand on the cold tile, lol

Peep blinked, but it is a good pic of the EE

Grrr. 2 and 3 are the same bird and number 5 is not the crooked toe one.
There is the one that was missed.
This is #4 from above.

And the crooked toe.

I figured it out. The pictures didn't load onto my computer in the order I took them so I got confused. But crooked toe girl was the only one on my finger.

Ok been wrapping and boxing up eggs for the last 3 1/2 hours. Pms with tracking numbers sent to the recipients.
Who was it that wanted feed bags? If you still need them, let me know. I have a bazillion... horse, chicken, rabbit, chick.... just pay shipping.
Gnite all....
