You can give it a day or so in the incubator to see if it will dry up and absorb. Sometimes it will, and unfortunately, occasionally it will pull out. Hard to guess without actual pictures. The only breed I have had that happen with were some of the Coros, and Dr. Bramwell said the humidity was too high.one of these basque has a herniated? navel...as in some of what its supposed to absorb is on the outside? any suggestions? never had that happen before. Received a box today from sahwithchicks just LOADED with perfectly packed eggs. FBCM and Barred Rocks, beautiful, beautiful eggs. They're resting now, I'll put them in later tonight.
And to top it off, 3 of 4 RP turkey eggs from krazykat hatched today, the cutest little buggers you ever saw. These are my first turkeys and I know I'm going to have fun with them!

must go eat guinea cookies now THANKS
I generally have tolbunt eggs................
In fact, hate to say this around here, but I have had them for breakfast on more than one occasion. This morning I had a fried Isbar egg. It's difficult when I mostly deal in rare breeds. It's hard not to look at every egg as a potential chick, but I can't hatch them all.
And the CCL lay HUGE eggs.
