There is no way possible to anticipate all of the problems that arise from swaps like this. Things happen all the time that we could have never anticipated.
So, rules have to change so we can keep the swap fair and moving along. I do appreciate your feedback, but it gets complicated.

We can all try the rules and if you don't like them then it is an option to move along to another swap. I for one love it and will be stalking it all winter.

With constant rule changes any swap would be a mess. The key is to set your rules & leave them that way, not change them every time someone complains they don't like 1 of them. I've read thru the history on this chain & have to say it's extremely poorly managed. Sorry, just my opinion.

The best part about that is you don't have to use this swap thread if it isn't to the standards you are accustomed to or think it should be-

I think we should make a rule prohibiting negative comments that are not constructive in any way

Eeeek! that's censorship LOL actually, if someone is trolling they should be prohibited, banned etc- HOWEVER all sides DO need to be heard in order to make more informed decisions- Bottom line, it is CPL's thread and I don't want to see it closed down- It's going to be a LONG winter here

Yeah I was joking actually I am not in favor of censorship, but I do think if you aren't a participant, swinging by and being negative doesn't help anyone. Providing solutions is being constructive. Criticizing with no solution is not.

its not poorly manaaged its the best manage ive seen and cpl is good at it.....
