Hatching Eggs / Paypal CHAT Thread

I SO hope to be able to do this someday. I hope to be retiring soon and then will have the time and energy to really put some effort into it.


On another note, I bought some more Orpington pullets and hens today - 3 black and 3 blue. My lone splash hen needed some company, especially if I want to keep a blue roo with my splash. Now I just have to figure out where to put them all. Two of them are laying age, 3 are close, and one may be another month or two. Give me 2 -3 weeks and I should be able to offer eggs.

did you get these at the swap in frankfort today?

We spent the day cleaning the yard of all the leaves and getting the rabbit area enclosed for winter. Came back in after a hard day and I had popcorn going off in the hatcher. My first silkies from my eggs, tolbunts and silkies from sebrightmom. I had an eggplosion but an awesome one!! Still have a few more to hatch and more silkies and tolbunts going in the hatcher tonight! Please let the power stay on!

I am right there with you, have 2 incubators full and just hoping the power stays on......and speaking of hatches, i hatched a serama a while back and it has feathered feet, is this normal, it's the only one like that.

Thank you tdhenson, I have 7 beautiful ducklings. 100% hatch I have light, dark & khaki. I actually watched the last one coming out of the egg this morning. I will get pictures later.
