Quote: Really, I don't want someone to get an Olive egger, even though they are cute.
I don't think they can. I'm doing good to get an egg after the storms went through here in Ohio this past week, out of 13 hens I got 2 eggs. How can a person send eggs no older than 4 days old when they only have a single hen with a rooster? At best, if the hen lays every day, and she probably wont, the oldest eggs could be 10 days old when the person gets them.
that's a good point and it seems like common sense to me. if you don't have enough hens, then those eggs should not be offered. even if a person had a trio it seems like it wouldn't be possible unless they were leghorns or sexlinks. but what do i knowHow can a person send eggs no older than 4 days old when they only have a single hen with a rooster?
