i also picked this EE up today but shes going in a different pin with my black EE rooster

Well, the new incubator is up and running and warming up in anticipation of serama and turkey eggs arriving, yay! (That'll make for an interesting contrast...) Still a few odds and ends to do yet -- it needs air holes and a viewing window in the top, but I don't have any appropriately-sized glass or plastic panels at the moment :( Besides, making sure the temperature holds steady is the most important thing!

This one should hold three to four dozen eggs, depending on size. Someday I'd like a fancy one with an automatic turner, but hey, hand turning's worked so far!

Now I just gotta wait for my eggs...

In the meantime, I'm sitting on my hands to stay OFF the swap thread till midnight! (Still gotta go peek and see who's posting what, though! LOL!)

I know! Well, kinda -- babymakes6 said you were right near her. I'm seriously thinking about doing an egg collection run next spring, if I'm back in running vehicle by then (if I'm not, I may have to shoot myself!). I'd love to meet you!

In the meantime, I broke down and got the four eggs WVstrutting had on offer. And restrained myself from grabbing corancher's bourbon red eggs just now! (I'm so virtuous... ha!)

However, that doesn't mean I wouldn't like some more! Especially started poults.
 
CPL is hatching turk eggs from me. By the way how are they doing
 
Enquiring minds want to know! :-) I'm nervous -- this'll be my first time hatching turkey eggs. I've got the incubator warming, WVstruttin!

And Mansfield's about 68 miles north of Columbus. Not like I've measured it, or anything

(Sorry, that was an injoke -- one of my best friends lives in C'bus, so yeah, I've made that drive SOOOO many times

Gawd I wish!!! No car :( One more reason why I really should stop buying eggs, lol!

Speaking of, pp from this afternoon was just sent -- funds came in early, OMG! They NEVER post early.So all my swaps are now caught up again, which means... I can buy more eggs!!!!

Wait... no! No!

(Excuse me why my id and my superego have a small spat, here...)
