So if a person went over their 7 swaps last week and lose two swaps, shouldn't they be jinxed after 5 swaps this week?

I've found turkey eggs to be a HUGE trial. keep the humidity up up up. the egg shell needs to soften or they cant get out( they recomend 80% for lockdown but i cant get it that high) . I tried to save my last turkeys who were internally pipped ( heard squeeking ) but I didnt do it .

Luckily what I DID hatch out earlier was a pair, Stuffing is going to have to sit on her own eggs next year, hope shes a broody. Or will an buff orphington hatch turkeys? hrm...

Chiqita and coldupnorth, thanks for the tips! It's good to know a few things to watch out for. We'll see how it goes. Worst case scenario, I buy live turkeys next time!

And yes, I have heard that a really good broody hen will hatch out turkey eggs I'd love to see that.

Ooh, I forgot candling them might be a bit of a challenge... lol!

I don't think CPL loses swaps but I think we gain swaps if she goes over.

Ok, really just asking to clarify the rules. I like CPL swaps too you know!
