Oh man! Probably a lot! Hahaha What kind of eggs do you have? Are they made of gold? Plus, I don't think a yak calf will fit in a flat rate box... though they are usually around 35 lbs when born, so they aren't over the domestic weight limit! It's just cramming it in there that's the problem...

Yeah, if nothing else, I'd think mom might get cranky... lol!

I already have the quail in the garage with straw bedding and a dim light so they don't go crazy laying eggs but still can see to eat and drink and do their thing and NOT lay any eggs.

Wow, are quail really that prolific? I had no idea.

Yeah, I'm nervous about my turkey eggs that are coming. I really appreciate the tips offered so far, and am researching hard and fast -- but I'll take any information/input anyone has to offer on how to hatch turkey poults successfully!

I wish I could give you some pointers. I'm sure someone on here has some good ideas. I think I remember reading somewhere that the trick is to keep the humidity high for turkeys. I don't know if that's true since, obviously, my turkey eggs didn't hatch...

I think the real trick is to get a hold of a huge redwood incubator like Rachael (crazypetlady) has.

I understand. I used to work for a toy company; in the shipping dept. From about July to the middle of December it was non-stop.
