What breed is that chicken to the far left in the bottom picture. I received one in a batch is speckled Sussex and thought it was a cross breed. I had to do a double take when I saw one in your picture.

Yes bottom picture far left is a cream crested Legbar. They do lay blue eggs. You might find someone will give you a roo for the cost of shipping, there are lost of those roo's around. I have a few in the incubator that will need a home or be dinner.

Wow... beautiful birds CPL!!! Makes me even more excited for those RO eggs=) I should be going to my mom's today (where my breeding pens are, my laying flock is at my house), and I can take pics of my young'uns=)

Just picked these guys up yesterday! My new Plymouth Rock flock

Three barred pullets and two blue with dark lacing, and of course the roo. The blues aren't completely integrated yet so I have to keep an eye on them, but hopefully they will be ok. You can't really tell in the pics but the roo is humongous!
