Here is a picture. This chicken was born in the middle of August. I did not hatch it out. When it was a chick, it looked similar to the ss, but I immediately saw a difference when it began to feather out.

That is definitely a Cream Legbar! She is cute!

My first generation away from GFF have started laying, and I can only describe these eggs as green. I guess my roo has a brown egg gene in him.

Thanks for confirming her breed. My brain automatically started thinking that if I get her a BF and then incubate her eggs... well you all know where this is going....we need an emoticon that has an egg hatching and then 15 chicks pop out. It can represent chicken math. My husband is not going to like this

So DH helped me make some heaters today to put under the waterers, I took a BUNCH of pics, maybe I should start a new album to put them in... It has been freezing here the last couple of days, earlier than usual, I wasn't ready to start pouring boiling water over the waterers to get them pried open and cleaned out for new water, yet... so the heaters should help a TON.. He's also going to go hang the lights at my mom's place it's pretty dark in there since we stacked straw all over the place for some insulation, so the poor birds over there don't feel like they're at the North Pole all winter, sheesh! I think I've sold a couple pullets for egg-laying, which will make thinning things down in the spring a LOT easier... Anyway, now I'm rambling...
