Why white? Unless the chicks have recessive white the chicks will not express white, only his coloring will get passed on to chicks.

I am going to make some auto sexing Olive Eggers in the Spring with a CCL roo

I personally have never been impressed with their birds.... way over priced BUT they have to import them so they have to pay for that.

Auto-sexing breeds true. Would your OEs would be auto-sexing in the F2 generation and beyond? Or would they just be sex-links for that F1 gen?

hi. I am new to both chickens and swapping. I hoping to hatch out some Dorkings and Barnevelders from my current chickens in the spring. but I keep thinking "oooh...that kind of chicken looks cool..." so I am checking out the swap thread and just learned I heve to get "cleared" before I can swap. (hoping to get clarification on what "cleared" means because I read the first post and still am unsure)

my girls just started laying...how do I know that my boy is doing his job? I watched him go at the wrong end of one poor girl a week ago...LOL.
The best way to know if your guy is doing his job is to incubate the eggs.

Being a newbie swapper, you need to have each swap verified. Meaning, if you offer eggs and someone claims it, you are not cleared until the eggs are received by the claimer. Same goes for Paypal.

I don't mind paying for quality and I agree, it costs a lot to import. BUT... they have to provide service too and keep their promises. It drives me insane that getting information out of them regarding bloodlines is like pulling teeth. Without anesthesia.
I completely agree. You can not sacrifice your CS because you sell stuff people want in a bad way. I won't deal with them again. It took them 6 days to refund my money. I was not a happy camper.

I struggle with deciding whether I think its willful or just that they are growing sales and not adjusting their operations accordingly, and therefore not really able to pay attention to the details or provide excellent customer service. I would like to think it is the latter, in which case they need to hire a business consultant or have someone give them some objective help on how to grow effectively. Growth can be painful in a company if not managed properly, and I personally think we the customers are feeling the pain at the moment.
