Talking about Narragansett turkeys on the swap board... I had a beautiful hen that was 5 months old... But hubby made me sell it, it like to roost on his well kept truck. I miss my turkeys. I had a pair of broad breasted bronze, my dog got ahold of the Tom and broke his leg, so we cooked him up for an early thanksgiving. After we sold the Narragansett, I also sold the BBB hen since I thought she would be lonely. Needless to say, once the feed store sells their chicks, I fully plan on getting some more broad breasted since they don't roost.
