Thank you for the through response. I guess if we really got to working on cleaning our woods, we would be able to use more land for animals. Our property has never been cleaned out, a it was kind of a get away/vacation property when we lived down in Fort Myers Fl. We just couldn't deal with the life down there so we took quite a pay cut to enjoy life more

I am going to start looking for a goat now hahaha.
Do you have any shelter for them, lean to or such? Just thinking start up cost. I was looking into meat cows a little while ago, and around here you put about 2 grand into them without any problems occurring, but start up was relatively low as long as you had pasture for them to rotate through.

No, they used to have the barn, but they didn't use it. Now the barn belongs to the bunnies Yaks are anywhere from $1000+ and super easy calvers. But if it's all humid where you are, you may be better off with something not so fuzzy If you get a goat, get two! They need a buddy They're herd animals.

DH says earlier today.. "what's up with all of the paypal charges?"

So I cleaned out my purse and cashed in all the change at the grocery store and made a deposit just to cover it so he won't be able to say anything.. purse is a half ton lighter too.

He loves the chooks as much as I do, though he may not readily admit it. Funny thing this morning.. he woke up and told me about a dream he'd been having. Apparently he dreamed that he went to open the coop and there were 15 tiny, random baby chicks in there that he'd never seen before. No shells, even! LOL! The man is dreaming about baby chicks.

Apparently he dreamed that he went to open the coop and there were 15 tiny, random baby chicks in there that he'd never seen before. No shells, even! LOL! The man is dreaming about baby chicks.
