I think all three of my PP offers have gone to you! That makes it easy for me!

I'm making myself sit out until something on my list that is available now pops up. Tooooooooo easy to get caught up in the fever!!! I joined to get some hatching eggs to test my new incubator, and I keep grabbing spring eggs!

I think you are right! :lau
I know I won't be offering too many more swaps. I usually sell chicks for $10 each straight run but like doing this. I think it is the gambler in me!!! :gig

Plus if something comes up I want to add to or try I will most likely grab it. It's a good trade and worth it!

so if someone is interested in trading chicks for chicks let me know what you have and see if I am interested. To help these are some of the breeds I am interested in

Swedish Flower hens- have 6 chicks right now
Cream legbars- have 5 chicks right now
english orpingtons- will have some eggs coming in spring
rhodebars
spangled russian orloff- have orloffs coming in spring.
or more
lav amer :D

I hear ya! I'm trying to sit on my hands unless something on my "really, really want" list comes up, but it's hard! The holidays make it a little easier -- I've got presents to buy still!

I made myself a deal (well, I made myself a deal so my husband won't kill me haha) I will only swap if I sell some of my chicks, quail, or eggs (no one is buying anything here this time of year) or I start getting eggs to swap. I guess I could offer up some mixed breeds, but since I don't want to hatch them, I don't think anyone else will!!

Quote: Then dorper probably aren't your best choice, they are primarily a meat sheep. We do get wool from a few of ours, as we've crossed them with a black ram we had. So about a third of our flock are black and need a little shearing.

I've thought about adding an offer choice when I do a swap. Would anyone be interested in as much raw alpaca fiber as I can stuff into a flat rate box? I have grey, white, black and chocolate brown.

This hatching addiction is a terrible thing.

This morning I spent ages deciding which eggs to scramble. I just seemed so wrong that breakfast consisted of this....

and this

or at least, 21 days from now could have been those!

Yep!!

Now I'm wondering how many other spinners are in here.....

Deb, I was wondering if anyone else went thru that! I only have mutts at this point, and even so I'm thinking, "Man, those could be baby chicks instead!" They do make very nice omelets, though :)
