This will let you know after dried and fluffed up what temperature they need to maintain. I lost one because I didn’t make sure was at 95-100 degrees.
I used a digital thermo gun to keep check for stable temps.
Hope this helps as the others hatch and you move to another container.

Here is another thing I’ve heard about but thought would be rare. I have a chick that looks like a too small pipe. It had done its pecking all around by 8pm last night and now is 5am. So I removed the “cap” and see if it can work it’s way out plus increased humidity to 85%. Bobwhite chicks and on day 25 of the 23 original days. Look how thick this egg is! Hope it makes it.
It was very funny, the chick poked its beak in a perfect circle with a little hinge!!It looked like he took his hat off and came out of the shell! Nothing else hatched yet but i see a few more shaking around!!!!

It was so funny, the first quail to hatch, once he got his feet under him and was walking around he started chirping like a maniac, ten minutes later another one hatched!!! It was like he was calling his buddies!
