hatching eggs

Today I put my buff orpington in the spot I want her to hatch the eggs and she just looked at the eggs a few times and started to look around.Anyone got any advice on what to do?

A hen won't hatch eggs for you unless she's broody. It doesn't sound like your hen is broody.
If you want to hatch the eggs, you might want to buy an incubator.

How can you tell if shes broody?
