hatching eggs

My hen is going to hatch five eggs, but the fifth one I put under her three days after she started to lay on her eggs. My question is to all is; will the hen keep laying on that fifth egg after the other four have hatched?

Maybe.

You'll just have to see how she responds, and you might want to have your incubator ready to rescue that last egg, or have a brooder ready to take care of the first four to keep her from wanting to get off the fifth one.

In general, it is a really good idea to give your hen all of her clutch at once so that they will all hatch at the same time.
