Hatching for Valentine's Day???

Sometimes if the temp runs a bit high they can hatch early or if it runs a bit low it can delay the hatch that why you always give them a couple extra days to hatch if they dont hatch on time. I'm at day 20 and have 3 pips now. Yea! The one I didn't see any movement in this am just pipped!

Still no peeps, no pips, no egg movement either hmmm...trying to be patient.

I don't think it looks like I'm going to get a chick.

The second Silkie hatched (first one died), but its not looking too great either

Its got a little glob of gunk that hasn't absorbed yet and is still attached to the shell. So not sure if this one will make it either. No sign of life from my other 8 eggs so far.

ONE HATCHED!!!! one of my barred rocks hatched!!! now it is in there banging around the other eggs...hopefully that will get more pips started....it looks healthy so far and is peeping up a storm!

Thanks for the support but my eggs are not the best for hatching,the shells are thick and hard and the membranes are super tough and dry out way too fast no matter what my humidity is

*goes to yell at chickens for laying hard to hatch eggs (to make me feel better) *
