Hi,
I'm joining in on this tread late, but have enjoyed reading all of your posts. I'm a chicken hatcher who recently discovered, and fell in love with, hatching Geese. I have two Chinese Swan Geese in the incubator that will hatch sometime this weekend. I am currently on the hunt for Sebastopol eggs in my area. Oh my goodness, what beautiful birds! I think I may have found some nearby. I'm also looking at some on ebay. Does anyone have any advice about ordering eggs in the mail? I live in Austin, Texas. If anyone knows of anybody in Texas with Sebastopol eggs that would be great, too.

I just set my last 16 pilgrims tonight. I have 48 eggs in two incubators now. As far as what Im doing. I have been turning them 4 times a day. 5am 8am 6pm and 9pm. The 6 pm turn I mist them and let them cool about 10 mins. My temp is running right at 99.8 and humidity about 60 to 65. At day 26 I will stop turning them and move them to a hatcher with the humidity about 80 percent until hatched.

i'm keeping my humdity at 60-65% just because mine were washed ans scrubbed. (not by me) and i normally do all my duck eggs 55-60% i have call ducks, runner and goose all in one incubator now. just had 10 call duckling hatch last night. mine is still air though. i would also just turn odd number of time waterfowl does best if its an odd number 3,5,7 times aday.

oh left my incubator open for 45 mins last night never done that before lol
