hatching geese eggs

Im afriad it is a problem with buying eggs on Ebay. I got some and all the air cells were detached. I really dont bother now and would try to make contact with some good breeders and collect hatching eggs yourself if possible. Some good news with the single egg though so fingers crossed for you Highlander

Day 4 today for our latest Dewlaps so hoping to see some embryos tonight when I candle. Got some eggs in that batch from a new mated pair of Canadian line 2010 Gander (very nice big bird) mated to our 2010 Buff Goose from John Hall's lines in UK. Crossing everything in the hope of some goslings this year from them

I do know some Sebbie breeders as I've reserved some show quality stock for this year. However the ones I know are all down South, Milton Keynes, Norfolk etc

Well thats a bit of a downer, if you got them from Ebay I would get intouch with them see if they will send more eggs...packed correctly.

Tried that, she wasn't having any of it. Blamed it on the post office.

Ya know that sucks I have had 2 bad hatches and both times if I paid for shipping they would ship one more time..

Lockdown on my 2 Sebbie eggs last night. I candeled before I put them in and saw movement in both eggs
