I am not sure what to name this but hatching gone bad. This is our first time hatching guinea eggs. We have had three hatch and they all ended up dying before they even dried. I am not sure what is going on and I know everything is a learning experience, but this one is no fun. Any advice would be great. We want to make sure we can avoid total failure again.

Did you touch them/help them to hatch?
What was the incubation temperature when they were drying?

We did not touch or help them. The incubator temp was between 98 and 99. Unfortunately, we had a hard time keeping the temp regulated after the keets hatched for some reason. I am thinking this might be it, but was not sure.

As long as the temps did not drop significantly for extended time to the point the chicks were able to get chilled, that should not kill them. I'm a hands on hatcher, which means I'm in and out of my incubator during hatch and often find temps at 97/98.

My big question would be what was the humidity over the incubation period? Was there any sign of moisture in their nose/bubbles coming from their nose or liquid from the mouth?

What day did they hatch on?
