OK so my first egg hatched today and it needed a bit of help sadly but seems to doing good so far. Been about an hour and seems to be drying out nicely. Cheeps every now and again but not too much movement. So I have another egg and it has not done anything but I candled it today and the air sacks has disappeared and I am worried. Does that mean it has broken into the air sacks and just hasn't pipped? Or do I need to worry and get it out. It is at day 19 or 20. I had 3 in there and 1 didn't make it and these 2 were moving and the one that hatched today did that yesterday. As of yesterday it was alive and moving in the egg. Am I just being too nervous?

that sounds like it has pipped internally. if it's only on day 19 or 20 give it more time. it might have pipped externally somewhere you cant see.

Definitely don't do anything to intervene just yet. It is probably still observing the yolk. If it hasn't externally pipped in 24 hours then you can try poking a very small pinhole into the air cell or where it was at so that it doesn't run out of air.

Thank you it pipped externally at 430 and since then not too much but I am more worried about the one that has mad it out if the egg. We named it cheep. Weak name but that is my brother cheesy and weird. It has been over 10 hours and it hasn't blurred out or walked. It cheeps and moves a little but not much more than that. Is this normal?

Yeah. Still hard when it is your First hatchling. Now I have one big question on the one that hatched today. Do I need to wait for it to fluff up before I take it out of the broader?
