Umm.My chick pipped in the middle. He pipped a hole yesterday afternoon. The hole hasn't gotten bigger yet.
 
If it's in the middle I would personally wait the full 24 hours before making the pip hole a little bigger and having a look to see what is happening in there. Pipping in the middle and more towards the bottom is slightly out of position so it may need a little more time.

The chicken is moving around very violently and feels to be jumping. I can see a tiny bit of red liquid on the edge of the shell, It's that bad? Is it normal for them to have a tiny bit of blood on the shell?
 
They have to pip to be able to continue the hatching process. They need oxygen and that's why they make the pip hole.
