Perfect....any will work as long as you calibrate them. How about these guages
What is HP?Ok. I put hp on top of incubator. Already up 2
I have the one on the right. It reads 92 laying in the clutch. I have a pool thermometer down by hp. I wanted to see if I could lay the eggs directly on the heating pad but it reads 105 directly on the heating pad and I have them raised off the heating pad and I just candled them and they seem to be fairing well. Idk why the temp quit staying at 99/100.Perfect....any will work as long as you calibrate them.
See this post: (It also has the easy directions on how to calibrate a humidity gauge)

Walmart sells cheap thermometers in the fish section.
Buy a few of them...they look like this: (If you calibrate one like this you can use it to verify a digital one)

WOW you are trying to incubator them with just a heating pad?I have the one on the right. It reads 92 laying in the clutch. I have a pool thermometer down by hp. It can work if you have the time to babysit the bator a lot.Yup. All I have. I am disabled & an animal rescuer. That should explain my delima so far so good. If this doesn't work I will just start feeding my duck eggs to my rescue. Grest omega 3's
