This is our 5th hatch. I thought with each batch it would get a little less stressful. BOY was I wrong. I wake all night long during lockdown after we start seeing pips. I worry about each little baby inside the egg and wonder, what color, what size, is it healthy and will it make it out on it's own. I have had to assist a couple and they are thriving but it certainly hasn't gotten any less nerve wracking.
We have 7 eggs in, two hatched, three with pips and two with nothing. I know I need to give them until day 26. Today is day 22 and I just want to see them all hatch finally so I can see each sweet little face. We hatch mostly silkies but we have a couple mixed in there too right now.

:hugsBreath!! .. let us know when you start seeing pips!
There are 3 right now that have pipped....the picture shows the two that hatched. Then there are two that haven't pipped. Think they may have passed.

We are up to four. One is working it's way out, then two more to go.
