Hatching log of a broody satin

Pics
Day 17

Candled a few of the eggs, they seem a little staggered in terms of development.

egg #5 definitely has more space inside than egg #4, which is surprising since egg #4 was left in the cold for a bit around day 10 (I think)

The air sac on all of them have dipped significantly, I can’t wait to mark them tomorrow!

She’s so awesome!! This is her first clutch right? Looks like she’s doing a fine job sitting 🥰
Yes! many firsts for her... I feel like she's finally learning to be a real chicken.
Her brood mate who passed a bit back was a frizzle satin and couldn't fly, so she never really tried flying, or jumping for that matter. It was almost frustrating to watch her look at a 6in step like it was some kind of mountain, lol. She would always wait for me to come, pick her up and drop her off at a new location.

Today she was so eager to go back to her eggs, she jumped 4 ft onto my arm. I'm getting prouder and prouder of her everyday!

Any babies yet?
We’re still on day 18, so it’s a bit too soon! I do see a lot of shadowing in egg number 5, so I think that one will pip first <3

I’m not sure what I’m seeing in the air cell, but it’s been sticking out since last night, no chirping or clicking though, so I’m guessing it hasn’t pipped internally yet!

I've only had 1 other clutch hatch so I'm not sure. But it definitely looks close. My hen is on day 17.
